Dr. Ralph Shapiro

Dr. Ralph Shapiro

Ralph S. Shapiro, M.D. is Director of the Midwest Immunology Clinic and is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Minnesota, where he received his MD. There he completed an internship and residency in Pediatrics, followed by a fellowship in Pediatric Hematology and Oncology, for which he is Board Certified. He spent eight years as Faculty at the University of Minnesota in Immunology and Bone Marrow Transplantation, where he cared for and conducted research focusing on lymphoproliferative disorders, primary immune deficiency diseases, immunotherapy and autoimmune disorders.

In 1995 he left the University to start the Midwest Immunology Clinic, a regional medical practice devoted to the diagnosis and care of adults and children with immune deficiency and auto immune disorders. He serves on numerous advisory boards, speaker bureaus, and is actively involved in co-operative research and development programs internationally.
